Okay, so for what’s left of your Saturday night, and indeed, your lazy Sunday morning (official start time: 1pm), we have a parody (a dogody?) of Adele’s song, Rolling in the Deep, barked by Pawdele, and also starring a rather gorgeous black cat (all black cats are fantastic and amazing and deserve to be spoiled (even though this one isn’t as goodlooking or incredible as me, he’s still a black cat)- Marvin the Cat).
Now, here’s the thing. What is going on in this video? Okay, I admit it, I’ve never heard the Adele song (at least, I don’t remember it…well, I should say, if I did, no one told me it was a song by Adele), so I’m a little in the dark. Why all the feathers? What do the tennis balls mean? Why did the dog smash the pics? Why is the house all suddenly packed up, but the dog is sitting there? And again, the black cat…is he in the attic? Is this some weird animal version of Great Expectations? Can a cat be Miss Haversham (spelling???)? There are so, so many questions.
Watch it. Enjoy. And please, comment so I can know. Don’t make me go and watch the original. Because that would be, like, work.

A few days ago the wonderfully awesome Neil Patrick Harris posted this video on his twitter account. Sorry, NPH, I’m stealing – erm – borrowing this from you.
It’s a pretty cool and weird video of a woman vacuuming her cat. Her cat. Her cat that really likes it.
However, I do that this to say to you cat people out there: DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME! If you’re cat is like mine, kitteh will give it a long, evil side eye and run away and hide. Or your kitteh may try and attack the evil monster you are wielding. Or, if you’re like the kitteh of a friend of mine, put up with being vacuumed in the same way other cats would put up with being leashed, or snuggled, or dressed in really cute outfits – with that look of ‘fine, I can’t escape yet. But I will. And I’ll also find a away to extract revenge. It may take years, it may take place over many different moments in time, but extract revenge I will…’
Cats don’t usually like this. So, beware.
although Fat Kitteh is rather adorable.

As you know, I’m a little behind the times, but I do try and bring you entertaining things that I find on the interwebs. Like this song. I have no idea where it’s from, or if someone else did it first, but it’s cute and funny and Sparta the kitty is adorable.
Yay for kitties.
Okay, now, can someone please write a song for Marvin? Otherwise, he’s gonna get jealous.

And we’re back with the Engineer’s Guide to Cats. Again, we’re late with this stuff, but who cares? It’s new around here, and that’s all that matters. Besides, I know lots of you haven’t seen this.
In this weird, funny and interesting video you get a song, a man in a bad wig with matching bad accent, and even more importantly, you get to learn how to do cat yodelling.
We’ve tried with with Marvin, but he refuses to yodel. But I’ve seen other cats yodel and it is awesome. I also love how affection whilst holding a cat really annoys them. It’s the best way to punish a naughty cat (pick them up, hug them and kiss them and tell them you love them). Oh, and this also contains the best pick up line ever.
Brighten up your week and learn some cat yodelling!

I have no idea what this is from, whether it’s serious or not (although, I really, really, really hope and pray that in the 70s a TV show existed, hosted by Tim Conway, called Dog Disco, where dogs basically attended their own doggy disco in a studio), but it’s completely weird and random and awesome beyond anything mere words could say.
So this is not only the perfect kick off to the weekend, but it’s also the perfect end to your weekend on Sunday, too.

This is a very funny video of a dog being terribly teased by his human. It’s pretty much perfectly done.
Check out the facial expressions.
Moral of the story? If you don’t want your dog to end up in therapy (dogs go to therapy), don’t tease them about food.

It’s Monday, and I’m watching my cat giving me the evil eye for posting a video of a silly kitteh who really wants to take down the mirror, or the ‘person’ in it.
And I know my cat is saying, “I wouldn’t do that. Quit embarrassing Catkind. We rule.” (Marvin doesn’t do lolspeak.) However, since I know a certain black cat has missed certain jumps and fallen out of cardboard box ‘beds’ without moving, I think it’s okay to post embarrassing videos of catkind.
Sorry, Marvin and kitteh in video, but this is too cute (and this is also too Monday) not to share.
Anyone out there have any amazingly adorable kitteh videos to share? If so, share, share!
