Cuteness Friday Trifecta – Part 2… Meet Soy Sauce, Ninja Kitten

July 20, 2012

Continuing our Friday-let’s-forget-what-a-bad-place-the-world-can-be cuteness trifecta, here’s a teeny, tiny little Scottish Fold Ninja kitten named Soy Sauce.

I’m not sure why he’s such ninja – because he’s all in black maybe? But who really cares? He’s so adorable he’ll make the most manly of men feel like his masculinity flew away on sparkly wings out the window to go on a shopping spree for a few hours. Seriously, this kitten is so adorable rocks and stones will turn to mush and go ‘awwww.’

And don’t you love how teeny kittens always seem to defy gravity with their leaps and bounds into the air? They jump up with virtually no weight holding them to the planet and then they waft down as if they could stay up in the air for as long as they want to, only they don’t want to.

Hands up who loves Ninja kittens? Everyone, right? Right.

Cuteness Friday Trifecta – Part 1…Puppy Gets Stuck in Sleeve

July 20, 2012

Oh boy, after waking to the horrific news of the crazy ‘I’m the Joker’ gunman bursting into a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado last night and killing 12 people, and injuring nearly 60 more (including a 3 month old infant), I think we all need a little cuteness in our lives – as soft and fluffy and adorable as possible.

Above we have an adorable puppy who got stuck in a sweater sleeve. I know, I know, we all feel bad when someone laughs at a cute animal getting stuck or tangled up in something. That person should help, we say. But if it’s ever happened to you and your pet, you want to help, you really do, but you end up simply laughing so much you can’t move. You’re helpless. Honest.

Sasha The Dog Says: But I Don’t Know Where IT Is!!!

June 27, 2012

Hello boys and girls! Today’s bedtime video (or for some of you, tomorrow’s breakfast video/morning secret work break/ mid-morning secret work break/just before, during or after lunch secret work break/ early afternoon secret work break/afternoon secret work break/late afternoon secret work break…) is brought to you by an adorable dog named Sasha with a very interesting tail-do.

Apparently, Sasha doesn’t know where IT is. And she tells them so. A number of times. Seriously, it sounds like Sasha the dog is actually saying ‘but I don’t know where it is!’.

Indeed, Sasha, but don’t worry, because most of us don’t know where (or even what) it is.

Ferrets Love Shoes!

June 6, 2012

I always thought if I was the type of person to wreak havoc and revenge upon others (I’m not I’m too lazy nice to do such a thing), I’d nonchalantly release a ferret in their presence, or give one as a present. But after seeing this, my non-plan has been thwarted.

Ferrets are not mean and bitey creatures.

Ferrets are sweet and loving. Just like cats, dogs, hamsters, bunny rabbits and ant farms.

This really cute video shows how this little ferret just loves shoes. His human taunts and teases and plays, and the ferret is like ‘oooh, shoes, gotta get me one of those!’ and basically doesn’t mind the big footed human trying to steal his little warm portable burrows (that’s ferret speak for shoes).

Who out there has a pet ferret? We’d love to hear from you!

Top 3 Cutest Puppies Ever On Video?

June 5, 2012

Now, let’s not misunderstand me. These are 3 super cute and adorable puppies. But the 3 cutest ever to appeared on youtube?

What do YOU think?

I took a super cute video of a friend’s dog. It’s shaky and silly, but puppy is super adorable. Sure, she’s older than these 3 teeny tiny babies, but I think the cuteness scale is up there:

Let’s face it, all animals are adorable and cute, and while teeny tiny baby animals definitely get the FTW prize each time (just like those sneaky teeny tiny human babies winning the adorable and cute prize over all of us since we turned that awkward age of 13 and beyond. So unfair. Babies.), all the other animals are just as heartwarming and adorable and cute.

So I posted Opal’s RPC debut above. Opal the Boston terrier is not responsible for the quality of the video (hey, wielding a camera phone whilst trying to play ‘It’s Mine!’ with a dog isn’t easy). And all strange and silly human voices are actually influenced by aliens, or your bad connection to the Interwebs, or something….ignore them! (concentrate on cute doggy, instead.)

I posted this second video, not to show you my brilliance as a post modernist pet cinematographer, but to show you how easy it is for any one with a camera to make a video. And I’m sure everyone else out there can make a better video than I did. I will point out that the quality of the ‘film’ is to do with the creature behind the camera, not the star, who was awesome.

Where are your videos? We’d LOVE to see them! Post them on our Royal Pet Club Facebook page.

Dog Park From A Dog View Point

May 24, 2012

You watch your dog run and jump and play in the park, either alone or with other dogs (and probably thinking, ‘Oh no, he’s gone and messed up that beautifully shiny and sweet smelling Royal Treatment coat! Well, it’s okay, we can just use some organic wipes, and then a bit of a spritz and he’ll be fine until next Royal Treatment Spa Day!’), and it’s fun, right?

But have you ever thought what it was like from a dog’s point of view?

Now you can find out!

I’m pretty sure this video is a sweet promotional ad for the camera used, the HD HERO2, but it’s such a cool video, I don’t mind plugging it here (after all, I craftily plugged the best organic pet grooming products for dogs up above, which is okay, because this IS a Royal Pet Club blog, after all).

It’s a great video. I love the reactions of the different dogs to the great dane, Bishop. Some of them are hilarious.

Enjoy the video and the song, but don’t blame me if it gets stuck in your head.

Dogs Hard At Work

February 1, 2012

Well, technically it’s one dog that’s hard at work working a real job (being the secretary, or the gopher, or the receipt giver, or something along those lines) in what I think is a vet’s office.

And it’s not like it’s slave labour, either, seeing that the dog gets a nice treat for his hard work.

But I feel for the one tagging along, looking all concerned and anxious, as if he’s trying to let us know A) he can do the job, too, if you you just give me a chance! C’mon, c’mon, puleeze give me a chance! B) Hey, look at me, I’m here too! and C) I’m cute, I’m friendly, and where’s my treat? Why don’t I get a treat. Sad face.

Seriously, I think that’s what that dog is trying to communicate. What do you think?
